Pharmacokinetic insight of A-Forte

To understand the release pattern and behaviour of A-forte in the in different pH and various dissolution conditions of stomach the following study was conducted.Release of drug was measured using spectrophotometry.

Study findings

The release of actives are similar and did not get influenced by the pH of media(fig-1).But the rate of dissolution of A-forte capsule was high at higher acidic pH (pH-2) and it influences the stomach pH(Table-1,2).This may lead to gastric irritation.Therefore it is safe and effective to take post-food which provides right environment for better drug dissolution.
