Out of 30 numbers,
Inhibition of keratinocyte multiplication by Dr.JRK’s 777 oil
Study findings
In Vitro study
MTT assay: Effect of Dr.JRK’s 777 oil versus methotextrate in keratinocyte multiplication inhibition was studied using MTT assay.
Study findings
Dr. JRK’s 777 oil and Psorolin oil proven to be non-rancid and safe
Rancid oil preparations are harmful to the psoriatic skin and are known to cause irritation, scaling and even elicit inflammatory responses.
When psoriasis patients are treated with cheap rancid oil preparations available in the market and exposed to sunlight/UV radiation, the generation of reactive oxygen species in the skin is induced which leads to oxidative stress and can damage the skin.
Study 1: Acid value of Dr. JRK’s 777 oil and Psorolin oil was evaluated and compared to various AYUSH products that are available in market.
Study findings
Acid value of different oils tested
1-9 : Market Products
11 - Dr.JRK's 777 oil
10 - Psorolin oil
12 - standard
Study 2: Study was carried out to prove the technological standardization adopted in the preparation of Dr. JRK’s 777 oil to prevent rancidity.
Study findings
change in Rancidity of oil in various process
1 - Initial acid value of coconut oil
2 - WT oil by heating process
3 - WT oil by sun drying
4 - Proprietary process of Dr.JRK's 777 oil
Qualitative and quantitative abundance of metabolites profile of Wrightia tinctoria leaf with reference to their age (young, matured and senescent) was studied by HPTLC (High Performance Thin-Layer Chromatography).
Bio activity was also determined by MTT assay. Further, the difference between the young and matured leaf was tested by anatomical and pharmacognostic means.
